Welcome to Daviot Care Home
Located in Inverness in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home provides high quality nursing care for residents affected by general frailty and also has specialist units for those living with dementia and mental health conditions.
The care home’s enviable location means it offers the best of both worlds: it has all the benefits of easy transport links for visiting family and friends, while also retaining the beautiful tranquillity of a countryside location.
Historic setting
Daviot Care Home was built as a hunting lodge for the clan Macintosh and has entertained royalty over the years, such as Edward the 7th.
In more recent times, it became a very renowned hotel in the Inverness area. Following Meallmore's acquisition, it has now been fully converted to provide exceptional standards of care.
Maintaining independence
As one of Meallmore’s larger care establishments, the home has been subdivided into four specialist units to provide a more homely feel. We have a wide choice of fully furnished ensuite bedrooms, including large dual aspect deluxe rooms and 13 spacious lounge or dining areas for socialising.
The happiness and well-being of residents is paramount at Daviot Care Home, as is safety and mobility, and we are committed to helping those in our care to retain their independence. We provide a full programme of engaging activities aimed at keeping the mind and body active.
